French music through the ages
Join young artists from the Royal Northern College of Music in a celebration of the rich history and traditions of French composers, featuring chamber works by Leclair and Barrière of the baroque era, to Ravel and Debussy of the 20th century.
This concert explores the unique and distinctive styles and soundworlds of French classical music, be it the graceful yet lively poise of French baroque or the provocative and colour-rich music of the early 1900s.
